MLB Tonight Analyst

Dave Valle joins MLB Network as a 13-year veteran of Major League Baseball from 1984 to 1996. He played for the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, Milwaukee Brewers, and Texas Rangers, all of the American League, and played catcher, first base and designated hitter. He serves as an analyst on MLB Tonight.

Valle was a color commentator for Seattle Mariners television and radio broadcasts from 1997 through 2008. Since 2007, also co-hosting the postgame show on the Mariners' radio network since 2007.

Valle is the president, co-founder and board chair of Esperanza International, a non-profit community development organization based in the Dominican Republic and Haiti since 1995. Esperanza serves the poor through microfinance, healthcare and education by facilitating community-based sustainable development programs. The organization is currently serving over 21,000 families throughout the island of Hispaniola.
